ABOUT US

Our Mission

Arboris enhances timber yield and natural capital value for forest asset owners by combining advanced monitoring, digital twin technology and integration of science for long-term economic and environmental sustainability.

Our Vision

To deliver science and data-led forestry management to a world where ecological resilience and timber production are aligned objectives.

Our Approach

Precision

Every judgment is grounded in verifiable data, not estimation. The science speaks; we report what we find.

Integrity

Advanced remote sensing, machine learning, and proprietary research close the loop between what's happening on the land and the decisions made about it, held to the same standard balancing economical and environmental objectives.

Patience

We operate on the rhythm of the forest, tracking change across long market cycles rather than a single point in time.

Management Team

Ian Barrington

Ian Barrington

Chief Executive Officer

With an emphasis on a high-quality silvicultural approach to forest management, Ian brings nearly 30 years of real-world experience to Arboris.

Highly experienced in the management of commercial forest assets, Ian also has a wealth of experience in the management of lowland mixed woodland, continuous cover forestry management and afforestation.

Andy Howard

Andy Howard

Chief Technology Officer

Creating the largest new private-sector woodland in England in 30 years taught Andy how deeply rooted forestry industry practices are and convinced him that a paradigm shift in how woodland development is assessed and measured was overdue.

He set about integrating updated scientific understanding with remote-sensing earth observation data, using AI to turn that data into the digital twins Arboris builds today: monitoring and decision support that makes supply-chain impacts on climate and nature visible, measurable, and understandable.
